secretly taking your name off a distribution list

Gmail has a Mute feature, which supposedly corrals inane email threads, sending them straight to your archive and bypassing your inbox. The thread will still pop up in your inbox though, if your email is in the to or cc fields (so that you won't miss any information directly addressed to you?).

Somebody tell me how this feature is OF ANY USE AT ALL!

When is my email address NOT going to be in either the to or cc fields?

Things that look good on me

  1. Attitude
  2. Puckered lips
  3. Short, frilly empire-waist dresses
  4. Bare shoulders
  5. A mic in my hands
  6. Wandering eyes (yours or mine? hm!)
  7. Holding back my laughter at dumb jokes
  8. Excitement about sharin gnews & discoveries
  9. Crossed eyes when I'm trying to politely focus on chomping off a piece of food that's bigger than my bite can handle
  10. Happiness

Your Ears - honestly, that's a problem

Do you ever sit down to a group dinner at a busy restaurant and have trouble hearing the person across the table from you?

You're suffering from the early stages of deafness.  Do something about it.

I wear earplugs when I go out to clubs, especially out here in Asia where the music is disturbingly loud.

No, it's not as weird as you imagine, and yes I can hear you when you are screaming at me trying to speak on the dance floor.  In fact, I can hear you better than without them in my ears because the earplugs filter out all the music and background noise.

If I'm dragged to a club after a dinner when I was just expecting to go home and am caught without my earplugs, I find it absolutely unbearable now.  In desperation, I'll ball up tissue paper and stuff them in my ears.

Plus, the girls dig it.
